      Summary

Incorrect display of Czech characters in CZ and CE versions

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      11

      Operating system version

      Mac OS X 10.5

      Description of the issue

Czech/Central European version of FileMaker Pro does not properly display Czech characters using some fonts.

Reported this to Winsoft who is responsible for CZ/CE versions. Posting here for the case someone experiences similar problem with other versions as well.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

Add Czech text to layout and select any of the following fonts:

      - Arial CE
      - Lucida
      - Times New Roman CE

or try this sample file: http://www.24uSoftware.com/temp/fmbugs/4774/Fonts_test.fp7

      Expected result

All Czech characters should display properly as on this screenshot:

      Actual result

Wrong characters are displayed as seen on this screenshot:

      Workaround

Using US version of FileMaker Pro seems to be the only suitable workaround.
