Summary

Incorrect Window selected when using a Floating Window and process window

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12v3

Operating system version

Windows

Description of the issue

If you open a Floating Window, then run a script from the Floating Window. If that script opens another window to process data and closes, the selected window will NOT be the Floating Window, but the main window behind it.

The problem this causes is if the script you ran on the Floating Window also closes the Floating Window when it is finished, it will close the main window instead of the Floating Window.

This only occurs on Windows. On Mac it works correctly and selects the Floating Window.
