Instant Web Publishing -- Sorting Records
Mac OS 10.5
When accessing a FileMaker Pro 11 database via the web, is there no way around the fact that sorting a found set of records hides all the records that occur ABOVE the "current record"?
All I want to display to web users is an alphabetical list, but since the records were created in random order -- and the "current record" happens to start with the letter "M" -- when I sort by name, I lose all the names from (roughly) A-L.
Is there a way to change the "current record" -- or de-select it -- so that web users can see all the alphabetized names?
I answered my own question while waiting . . . all I had to do was add a step to the button script, moving the pointer to the first record.
