Summary

Issue on FM Go 11 and 12 with iPad only  (not on iPhone) after closing View.

Product

FileMaker Go

Version

FM Go 11 and 12

Operating system version

iOS 11 and 12, runtimes and fp7 files.

Description of the issue

On the iPad and not on the iPhone, for both FM Go 11 (runtimes and fp7 files) and 12, after tapping Print, and PDF, and then View, a small black bar/strip (about 0.5 cm) is inserted at the top of the screen. Then after closing view, the bar/trip persists on all layouts. This shifts all content on layouts down by the width of the strip. Not a major issue but it is annoying. It can be undone by tapping upper left to access windows, then expanding back to layout. But it is annoying as it moves content down off my layouts.

Steps to reproduce the problem

After tapping Print, and PDF, and then View, a small black bar/strip (about 0.5 cm) is inserted at the top of the screen. Then after closing view, the bar/trip persists on all layouts. This shifts all content on layouts down by the width of the strip.

Expected result

Expect the black strip on top to disappear and return displays of layouts to original state before applying the steps above.

Actual result

after closing view, the bar/trip persists on all layouts. This shifts all content on layouts down by the width of the strip.

Workaround

It can be undone by tapping upper left to access windows, then expanding back to layout.
