      Description of the issue

      When you upgrade an installed English version on a system with French MAC OS system and language selected in French, you have some mix translation in the menu and you cannot have access to the template or the manual.

      To correct it, you must settle in the system preference English as first language in the list.

      Configuration information

      MAC OS X 10.6.4 4 GB memory

          Thank you for your post.

          FileMaker looks at the installed language to know which language to install.  If you installed the English version and changed the language to French, then in order to install the English updater, you would need to set the language back to English prior to running the updater.
