This is not an issue.
A global field if in a networked solution retains just the value that eventually was inserted directly opening the file with FMP or FMPA.
All values inserted during a client session will be lost at closing.
You have two possibilities to solve your problem.:
- Open the file with local FMP. Insert the picture in the global fields. Close it and reload to the server. This imply that the content of the global field do not change.
- Create a table (tableA)with just one record and fill the fields with all the values you need for your solution. Create a script, which runs at start, and copy the fields from TableA to your global fields.
