      Summary

      JDBC Driver: SQL keyword: UNIQUE not recognized

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      11.0v3

      Operating system version

      10.6

      Description of the issue

      Please allow the UNIQUE keyword to be recognized by the JDBC driver.

      example:

      select UNIQUE artist
        from song_table;

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Enter:
      select UNIQUE artist
        from song_table;

      Expected result

      Query runs.

      Actual result

      SELECT unique artist
        FROM aasong

      com.filemaker.jdbc.FMSQLException: [FileMaker][FileMaker JDBC] FQL0001/(1:8): There is an error in the syntax of the query.

      Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      com.filemaker.jdbc.FMSQLException: [FileMaker][FileMaker JDBC] FQL0001/(1:8): There is an error in the syntax of the query.

      Workaround

      Use the DISTINCT keyword.

      See, this should be a simple enhancement, as DISTINCT is already supported.

      Thanks.
