Summary

Keyboard Shortcuts don't work in dialogue windows on Mac OS X

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11

Operating system version

Mac OS X

Description of the issue

Deleting a record or layout invokes a dialogue window asking for confirmation to permanently delete the item.

In FileMaker Pro 10 and FileMaker Pro 10 Advanced, typing D would behave the same as clicking the Delete button in the dialogue window. This doesn't work in version 11.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Open a database, go to layout mode and select the delete layout command in the Layouts menu. Alternatively, delete a record in Browse Mode. Type the D key when the dialogue window appears asking for confirmation to delete the item.

Expected result

The layout or record would be deleted.

Actual result

Nothing happens.

Workaround

Manually clicking the delete button will delete the item.
