Summary

Layout changes when DBase sent and opened on another computer (configurations are same on both comps)

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12

Operating system version

Mac OSX 10.7

Description of the issue

When I send a FMP Dbase to a user on another computer and that user opens the dbase with FMP 12 on a same OS X, there are slight changes on the layout design that include mainly line spacing changes in fields.   Hence new user needs to go back into the edit layout and reset line spacing numbers so as to reduce it to original and hence make the text fit into the field.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Send an FMP file to another user and ask him to open it on his computer.  Changes on line spacing occurs.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

no error message.

Workaround

We have to ask our users to reformat the filed; that said, a lot of them don't have access to edit layouts and hence it influences printouts as we can't always fix the issue through teamviever or remote access software.  Our users are all in other countries in different time zones.
