    Lost Data

    Kodiak

      Summary

      Lost Data

      Description of the issue

I updated from Filemaker 5.5 to Filemaker Pro 10.0 this year. I have found that I am losing blocks of data from my files.     I backed up my data onto a cd in the event of a loss and when I lost data again I tried to reinstall the data it was missing     from the cd. I know the data is there which means that filemaker is not reading data that was installed into the program     within a certain period of time. Why does it keep doing this?  Windows Vista 64bit OS.      Joe

Recover the file and see if the data is present in the recovered file. If so, then you'll need to find/create an undamaged copy of your data base and import the data from this recovered file into your new undamaged copy.
