Summary
Maps come in blurry when inserted into a FileMaker Pro 12 document
Product
FileMaker Pro
Version
12
Operating system version
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)
Description of the issue
We have for many years used Filemaker Pro (various versions) to manage a database and to produce comparable sale sheets for our appraisal business. We just purchased FileMaker Pro 12 to go with our latest operating system and discovered that in 12 the maps we usually import come in blurry. This does not happen in FileMaker 11.
Steps to reproduce the problem
The problem does not happen in FileMaker Pro 11, using all the same programs: the Lion OS and Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 to create the highlighting on the maps. The blurriness is a new issue with FileMaker Pro 12.
There's been a reported problem with the new container field options in FileMaker 12. Fix, as I recall, was to go to Manage | Containers and clear the "Generate and store thumbnails.." check box.
