Summary

Most FileMaker 14 developer dialog boxes no longer dismiss with keyboard

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

14.0.1

Operating system version

OS X 10.9.3

Description of the issue

When developing a database in FileMaker Pro 14, most of the developer dialog boxes can no longer be dismissed with the keyboard. In all previous versions of FileMaker, we have been able to dismiss most of the developer dialog boxes by either hitting the "Enter" key for "OK" or hitting the "Esc" key for "Cancel". But now, in FileMaker Pro 14, developers are required to use the mouse to dismiss the developer dialog boxes. Please see attached screenshot for one example of this problem in action. This is the dialog box that comes up when you are attaching a "single step action" to a button. Neither the "Enter" key nor the "Esc" key will dismiss this dialog box. Developers are required to use the mouse. This slows things down for developers. Please revert back to the behavior that was in FileMaker 13 and earlier.
