Need default Admin uid and pwd or another option to access FileMaker Pro file

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

5.5

Operating system version

Description of the issue

Hello out there,

I am the new Systems Admin. for a small school and have a problem accessing the app. You see, the old Admin. didn't provide the FileMaker Pro Admin. uid and pwd when he left. In fact, he didn't turnover much of anything! What a deal, huh?

To make matters worse, I am new to this software and am learning the basics right now through the tutorials. So, ANY assistance would be greatly appreciated as I need to create a new school year file ASAP.

Steps to reproduce the problem

I got on the server and located last years .fp5 file to view it and get an idea on the layout for the creation. However, it requires a password. I checked with the the admin. person that uses a certain uid to access FMPro and she does not know the original Admin. uid and pwd. Only the one she uses.
