Summary

New Record script step does not run if a Calculation definition window is open

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11v4

Operating system version

OSX 10.6

Description of the issue

If is have a Specify Calculation window open anyone running a script with the New Record step gets hosed. Depending on the specific script either (1)no record gets created in the target table and the subsequent scripts steps perform on the wrong record or (2)the script never goes to the other table and a record in the current table is modified with the subsequent script steps. All I have to have open is the Specify Calculation box open for this to happen. I have not tested whether it has to be open in a table that is part of the script or not.

I need to work with all design functions on a regular basis and this totally has me dead in the water. My users are very busy in the DB and create records pretty much all day. I cannot have to keep worrying about whether I have a Calculation open. Please fix this.
