Summary

New scripts SHOULD NOT DEFAULT TO SCRIPT MENU

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

14.0.1

Operating system version

OS X 10.10.3

Description of the issue

In ALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF FILEMAKER, dating back to version 1.0 in 1985, when you create a new script, it does NOT DEFAULT TO BEING INCLUDED IN THE SCRIPT MENU! But suddenly, in FileMaker version 14, you people decided to make all scripts default to BEING INCLUDED in the script menu! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!!! Absolutely not!! If we are developing a large solution for a customer, we don't want all of our hundreds or thousands of scripts to show up in the script menu! 99.999% of all scripts need to be hidden from view from the clients! Please revert back this behavior to how it has always been for 30 years! Better yet, get some engineers working on the FileMaker product line who actually UNDERSTAND FileMaker Pro! How's that for a brilliant idea? FileMaker 14 is the worst release in FileMaker's history.

Expected result

No, no, no, no, no, no!
