Summary

Objects that have "hide object" logic when copied will lose the specified calculation but still hide.

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

14.0.1

Operating system version

OSX 10.10.3

Description of the issue

Objects that have "hide object" logic when copied will lose the specified calculation but still hide. So the object will hide based on whatever logic was supplied on the original object but the calculation defining that object will no longer be visible. This problem is a pernicious and nasty little bugger as objects will hide and you may or may not have any idea why.

Steps to reproduce the problem

We have verified this behavior during several team programming sessions and can't find a way to replicate it reliably. This is the worst kind of bug!

Expected result

An object hides with the logic supplied and that logic is visible and modifiable.

Actual result

Object hides based on whatever logic was placed in the calculation prior to it disappearing.
