Summary

Omitting a record from list or table view scrolls window so active record is at bottom of the window

Description of the issue

Filemaker Pro 10, 10 advancedWindows XP, Mac 10.4, 10.5 As reported here:http://forum-en.filemaker.com/fm/board/message?board.id=FM-en-4&thread.id=36295 steps:Pull up a list of records in list view or table view.Sort the records. The list must be more than can fit on the screen.Scroll the window so that the window is not scrolled to the top of the screen.Select a record in the top or middle of the window and omit it from the found set.The system correctly makes the next record in order the current window but scrolls the window so that the record is now located at the very bottom of the screen. This is annoying to users and can cause confusion when they "lose track" of the current record. Work arounds.None really short of always scrolling the window to the top before omitting, which is not always possible. Edit: Just learned that the records must be sorted in order for this to happen.
