               Hi za gada. One more time you have right : it is now an inspector's option, in the Data Tab. You will no longer find it on the format menu, since the FM11 version. Because i was interested too, i just sent you a private message that contains a link to an example fmp12 file that follows the guidelines instructions. Fred.

                 But on more thing...  This tip is really cool and personnaly, i will use, instead of creating the two more fields, the table occurrence, the relationship and the looked-up value, define only a calculated value on the Override field like this, using a new calculation function (FM10) :

                 If (

                           Quantity and Price
                           And
                           Get ( ActiveFieldTableName ) & "::" & Get ( ActiveFieldName ) ≠ GetFieldName ( Override )
                           ;
                           ""
                           ;
                           Override
                      )
                 Be sure to uncheck the "Do not replace existing value of field (if any)" on the Override's Field Options.

            wink

                   Hi again, I am sorry for the "spam" but if you are interested in "my version", i found a better formula that is better because it is Context-free :

                   Let ( N = GetFieldName ( Override )

                           ;

                           If ( Quantity and Price

                                and

                                Get ( ActiveFieldName ) ≠ Right ( N ; Length ( N ) - ( Position ( N ; ":" ; 1 ; 1 ) + 1 )

                              )

                           ;

                           ""

                           ;

                           Override

                          )

                   )
