Pie Charts in FileMaker are useless

FileMaker Pro

Operating system version

OS X 10.8.3

Description of the issue

FileMaker's pie charts continue to be useless in FileMaker, because of the following reason:

If you want to display the chart text for the "data points" on your pie chart, FileMaker doesn't display the chart text properly if your pie pieces are too small. It OVERLAPS ALL THE CHART TEXT between pie pieces!

Wow, FileMaker, I'm so sorry that my actual data numbers don't fit the exact width of a pie piece that you require it to be! ;)

All the 3rd party charting plug-ins on the market understand that this could be a problem, so they OFFSET the chart text with a line, to move the text AWAY from the pie chart.

But not FileMaker... it just lets all the text overlap each other.

As a workaround for this problem, there were NO WORKAROUNDS before FileMaker 12 because you couldn't even remove the chart text for the "data points"... there was NO WAY to make the font size zero for "data points". Well, there's STILL no way to make the font size zero for the "data points" in FileMaker 12... the minimum font size allowed is 1.  But at least in FileMaker 12, you can set the TEXT COLOR to match the BACKGROUND COLOR to at least HIDE the "data points".

But still, we WANT the "data points" showing... we just don't want the "data points" overlapping each other!!

Please fix, and thank you!
