      Summary

Printing issue with 2 sub-summaries and long text output

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      FM Pro Advance 12.0v3

      Operating system version

      Mac OS X 10.6.8

      Description of the issue

When in preview mode with a layout that has 2 sub-summaries and a body that is longer than a single page, FileMaker is inserting a page break between the 1st and 2nd sub-summaries when the text field is long.
This doesn't happen on every record: only the ones with enough text in the text field so that field splits across pages.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

Layout with 2 sub-summaries and a body. The 2 sub-summaries contain single line text fields (a name and a location). The body is 15 inches long and contains 1 text field (description) that extends for most of the body. All 3 fields have sliding up (all above) with resize. The body is allowed to break across page boundaries.
The 1st sub-summary has a page break before each occurance, but changing this doesn't affect the problem.
Sort on the 2 sub-summary fields and go to Preview mode.

      Expected result

For each: 1st sub-summary field (page break before a new one)
         1st sub-summary name
         For each: 2nd sub-summary field
            2nd sub-summary name
            For each: text field
Text field, wrapping across pages for long content.

      Actual result

When the contents of the text field are longer than one page:

For each: 1st sub-summary field (page break before a new one)
         1st sub-summary name
         ** Page Break **
         For each: 2nd sub-summary field
            2nd sub-summary name
            For each: text field
Text field, wrapping across pages for long content.

After the page break, the layout displays as expected: the 2nd sub-summary name and then the text, which does wrap onto the following page.
