Summary

Printing Labels, font (Corsiva) is printed out as the FM10 default font.

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

FM10

Operating system version

Windows XP Pro (and Windows 7)

Description of the issue

Created a database of names and addresses on original FM3 installation to print address labels using Avery labels 14-up on A4. Chosen font is Monotype Corsiva.

Prints OK from FM3 on to LaserJet 1100, but after upgrading to FM10, the labels print in the default FM font.

Also, previewing on screen at same size in FM10 shows correct font, but increasing size of view causes text to revert to default font.

Steps to reproduce the problem

De-installed upgrade and reverted to FM3 on Windows XP machine, reinstalled FM10 on Windows 7 laptop.

Expected result

Correct font used to print labels.

Actual result

Incorrect (FM default) font printed out. Screen preview OK at same size but also reverts to FM default when view size increased.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

None

Configuration information

Other print programs using Corsiva font print correctly to the Laserjet 1100 from both Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 machines.

Changing advanced print preferences from "use default printer font" to "download soft font" made no difference on either machine.

Workaround

Can't find one. Have to revert back to FM3!
