      Summary

      progressive updates 6.0 v1 to 6.0v2 to 11.0 to 12

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      6.0v2

      Operating system version

      OS X 10.6.8

      Description of the issue

about to commence updating to v12 from 6.0.

I firstly need to update existing licenses to 6.0 v2 but get "qualified product not found" with duplicate version of 6.0v2 in apps file. [duplicate key entered in error 7 years ago when we only had 3 staff! so conflict did not become apparent]

We started with 5.0 or earlier many years ago on OS 9 or earlier so cannot find an earlier version to commence upgrade to 6.0v2 for which we purchased 5 license keys some years ago.

I want to establish our original five licenses running properly first before upgrading to 11 then to 12 as recommended when we bought a total of 10 license keys plus unlimited server key approx 2 years ago.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

load 6.0 v2 upgrade, enter any one of 5 purchased upgrade license keys after name & organisation (I presume these are not linked - company has not changed but precise original text not recorded).

      Expected result

updated application with correct key license (we have 5 for this product)

      Actual result

      "qualified product not found"

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      "qualified product not found"

      Configuration information

      OS X 10.6.8

      Workaround

      none

i think i need an original 6.0v1 to restart upgrade process.
