Summary

Removed "Show Omitted Only" from Custom Menu. Feature still accessible via toolbar.

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11.x

Operating system version

Windows

Description of the issue

I removed "Show Omitted Only" from the active Custom Menu but I could still access 'hidden' records by clicking on the little graph icon in the toolbar. This happens only on Windows, not on Mac OS. I could reproduce the issue on Windows XP SP2 and on Windows 7 Professional.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Create a custom menu. Remove or disable 'Show Omitted Only' from the Records menu. Make it the active Menu Bar. Perform a find to create a limited found set. The graph icon still allows to reveal omitted records.

Expected result

Expected Graph button to be disabled like all toolbar buttons when corresponding menu item is removed from active menu.

Actual result

Graph button is still active and it works.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

No error messages.

Workaround

I left "Show Omitted Only" in the custom menu but attached a custom Action 'Exit Script' to it.
