Description of the issue
In FM 11 when you set the lines in a portal to NONE all lines in a port disappear. When you do this in FM 13 all the lines in a portal disappear except the lines between port rows.
Steps to reproduce the problem
In FM 11 select the portal and set the line to none. All portal lines disappear. Do this in FM13 all lines disappear except the line between the portal rows.
Expected result
The lines between the portal rows would disappear like all the other lines.
Actual result
See the lines between portal rows doesn’t disappear.
Workaround
Create a portal in FM11 and set the lines to “None”. Convert the file to 13 and the portal stay correct. You can use the copy format tool to apply that formatting to other portals.
Bailey Kessing:
Thank you for your post.
I am unable to replicate the issue. I also created a file in FileMaker Pro 11.0v4 and then migrated the file to FileMaker Pro 13.0v2 under Mac OS X 10.9.2 (Mavericks). The lines still do not appear.
With the file opened in FileMaker Pro 13.0v2, go into Layout mode, select the portal, and check the border settings, and then check the field settings inside the portal.
Keep me updated with any progress.
