Summary

reoccurring error message on copying from layout to another (exceeding layout size)

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

Filemaker 12 Advanced

Operating system version

Windows 7

Description of the issue

Dear, I am constantly getting the error message

"This operation cannot be completed because it would exceed the maximum allowed dimensions of a layout"

(attached the screenshot)

when copying items from one layout to another.

This mostly is with very simple things such as copying buttons, or even text.

But it's always when copying from one layout to another.

Restarting Filemaker fixes the problem, but it's getting seriously annoying.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Problem occurs at unpredictable moments.
Sometimes days nothing happens, sometimes, it's every 10 minutes.

Expected result

not having the error message anymore

Actual result

still having the error message

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

"This operation cannot be completed because it would exceed the maximum allowed dimensions of a layout"
