Summary

Runtime: Converting/Importing Win-Resources into Mac and vice-versa

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12

Operating system version

Windows AND Mac OSX

Description of the issue

a script in a Runtime-Solution on Mac fails to convert (fp7 => fmp12) and import any Windows Runtime-resources.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Build a solution with data-files with FMA 11. Make RunTimes out of this solution on Mac as well as on Windows. (Maybe make same mistake as me by using different Binding-Keys for Mac and Win solution.)
Build a script to first convert (to FM12) and second import data-file and make RunTime.
Perform script in RunTime on Mac with Win resources in target-folder.

Expected result

We're dealing with switchers! Customers must to be able to use and update ours solutions when switching from Windows-PC to Mac-Computer and vice-versa.

No restriction in runtime for convert AND import script with datas with different Binding-Key AND/OR from different OS!

Actual result

Scripts fail with Error-Message:
(Couldn't open/handle file since it is not part of this solution)

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

Die Datei kann nicht geöffnet werden, da sie nicht Bestandteil dieser Lösung ist.

Configuration information

Workaround

none. Please give any advice. It's urgent!
