      Summary

Save Records as PDF security in append mode

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      13v4 Pro and ProAdvance

      Operating system version

      Windows 7 SP1

      Description of the issue

I "Save Records as PDF" with security option set as in the attached image:
Set Require password to control printing, editing and security
         Password: “Password”
         Printing: High Resolution
         Editing: Not Permitted

If then I want to Save records as Pdf (in append mode), even if I specified exactly the same security conditions (including the password), I got the error # 9 (insufficient privileges)

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Set a script to:

      Select records

Save Records as PDF [ File Name: “$file” ; Records being browsed ]
[ Document - Title: Title; Compatibility: Acrobat 7 and later ]
[ Pages - Number Pages From: 1; Include: All pages ]
[ Security - Password to print/edit; Printing: High Resolution ; Editing: Not Permitted ; Enable Screen Reader ]
[ Initial View - Show: Page Only ; Page Layout: Continuous ; Magnification: Fit Width ]
      [ Restore; No dialog ]]

Do something else selecting other records

Save Records as PDF [ File Name: “$file” ; Records being browsed ]
[ Document - Title: Title; Compatibility: Acrobat 7 and later ]
[ Pages - Number Pages From: 2; Include: All pages ]
[ Security - Password to print/edit; Printing: High Resolution ; Editing: Not Permitted ; Enable Screen Reader ]
[ Initial View - Show: Page Only ; Page Layout: Continuous ; Magnification: Fit Width ]
[ Restore; Append; No dialog ]
