      Summary

      Scrolling Window Zooms Web Viewer

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      FMP 12

      Operating system version

      Windows XP, SP3

      Description of the issue

Scrolling the window or hiding the status bar zooms web viewer content if the web viewer is visible.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

Bring up a layout with a web viewer on it.
Scroll the window or hide the status area.

      Expected result

      No zoom

      Actual result

Zoom--and content is hidden from view off the right hand border of viewer. Can't find a way to undo the zoom except to change layouts to another layout and back again.

      Configuration information

This was tested with two different layouts in the same file converted from .fp7 to .fmp12. Two different web sites were referenced during testing with identical results.

      Workaround

Place the web viewer inside a tab control with a different tab panel specified as the default panel. Scroll window/hide status area first, then click the tab to bring up the web viewer.

      Workaround

Put the Web Viewer inside a tab control. Specify a different tab panel as the default tab panel. Adjust the window first, then click the tab for the web viewer.
