Send Mail via SMTP - Using a zero as the first character in the password under SMTP options fails
I am using the Send by via SMTP option and the password on the account started with a zero. What is happening is that after you type in the password and hit 'ok', the zero gets erased. So when you go back into the SMTP options, the zero is now gone and the email will fail.
Thank you for your post, and I apologize for the late reply.
If you enter a number into the password, then it will be treated as a number. That is why you will see any leading zero erased.
If you want to send a string that begins with a number, then put the password in quotes, so it becomes a text string.
