      Send Mail with Groupwise8 crashes Filemaker

      Description of the issue

      Sending a mail with pdf attachment causes Filemaker to stop working.
      In detail: We are using a business-application based on Filemaker.
      When sending a mail with pdf-attachment the mail is correctly generated, Groupwise Client opens up with the mail ready to send.
      On the other side Filemaker ist complaining about the sendmail application not responding and then crashes on either action (cancel or switch to).
      The error message:
      "This action cannot be completed because the 'send-mail to ' program is not responding. Choose 'switch to' and correct the problem."
      And then:
      "A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close this program..."

      Sometimes an alternative error also appears (original german text: EMail senden wurde abgebrochen. Wollen Sie mit dem Script fortfahren?):
      "send email cancelled, continue script?"

      This ending as well in:
      A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close this program...

      With the previous version of Groupwise client (Version 7) everything works as expected

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Send mail with pdf-attachment using Groupwise Client Version 8

      Expected result

      Open mailclient with recipient, mailbody and attachment, ready to send.
      Running and useable filemaker client in the background (no cancel-cursor "ESC" visible)

      Actual result

      Open mailclient with recipient, mailbody and attachment, ready to send.

      Filemaker presents "ESC"-Cursor

      Filemaker client presenting an error message (see below)

      Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      This action cannot be completed because the 'Novell Groupwise-Mailbox' program is not responding. Choose 'switch to' and correct the problem.

      and after either action

      A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close this program...

      Workaround

      install older version of Groupwise client (Version 7)
