Summary

Show/Hide Toolbars, doesn't hide Formatting bar

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

13.0v5

Operating system version

Windows 7 Professional (64 bit)

Description of the issue

When activating a script that opens a new floating window, the new window that opens shows the formatting bar even though the script includes  Show/Hide Toolbars[Hide], and Show/Hide Menubars[Hide] steps.

If the layout from which the script is called has the formatting bar open, the resulting new window will have it as well, even if you attempt to hide it. The only way to turn it off, is to close the floating new window. Go to View>uncheck Formatting Bar, then re-launch the script that opens the new window.

Steps to reproduce the problem

See above

Expected result

no formatting bar shown

Actual result

formatting bar is shown

Workaround

Formatting bar must be manually turned off to prevent it from showing on New Window.

Show/Hide Toolbars [Hide] has no effect on whether or not this toolbar is on or off.
