Summary

Single Record populates all Fields with Question Mark - unable to delete or process otherwise

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11.0.4

Operating system version

Mac OSX Lion / Tiger

Description of the issue

A single record within our database of 25,000 records has all fields populated with ? question marks. We have tried to resize all fields to see the underlying data, as well as to change the field format to other formats with no luck. A search in our primary key field, returns one result for that record. Our system requires that the primary key is unique, so we have tried to create a new record with the same primary key and a suffix of "A" and the returned result is that the record is not unique. We have also tried to delete the record. When doing so, the system acts like the record was successfully deleted, however when you search for the record again, it returns the same record completely filled with question marks.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Search for the record via it's key field "21215". Attempt record delete, or attempt to click in any field to change the contents of the field - the system doesn't respond.
