Sorting ESS Table causes FileMaker Server Advanced to crash
Description of the issue
FileMaker Product(s) involved:FileMaker Pro 10.0v1, FileMaker Pro 10.0v2, FileMaker Pro Advanced 10.0v1, FileMaker Pro Advanced 10.0v3, FileMaker Server Advanced 10.0v1, FileMaker Server Advanced 10.0v2 Operating System(s) involved:FileMaker Server Advanced running on Mac 10.5.7 and Mac 10.5.6FileMaker Client running on Mac and Windows Server 2003 Detailed description of the issue:I have added a mySQL Table via ESS. Any time I sort a large amount of records, 5000 +, or all of the records in that table, FileMaker server crashes. Exact steps to reproduce the issue:1. Install FileMaker Server Advanced on a Mac 10.5.7 or 10.5.6 machine 2. Install mySQL on Fedora Core 7 3. Create FileMaker Database called Customers, adding fields Customer Name, Phone Number, Address, Fax, ....and 50 other fields 4. Create mySQL Database called Customers, adding fields Customer Name, Phone Number, Address, Fax, ....and 50 other fields 5. Create 5000+ dummy records in mySQL 6. Add the mSQL Customers table via ESS. 7. Create layout in FileMaker with using the mySQL Customers table and add all of the fields 8. Show all records then sort by any field in the mySQL table. Expected Result:Return all records in the mySQL sorted by selected field. Actual Result:FileMaker shows sort dialog starting with the first record and pauses for a few minutes. Then FileMaker closes stating "Communications lost ......"
