Summary

Status Toolbar won't update record number

Description of the issue

FileMaker Product(s) involved:FMP 10.0v3  Operating System(s) involved:Windows XP Professional 2002 SP2  Detail description of the issue:When we had the old Status menu (now called Status Toolbar), and we looped through a record set via script, we could watch the record count change.  Since the new Status Toolbar, we no longer can watch the records change (so we can’t use it as an indicator on how much longer it will take).   Exact steps to reproduce the issue:Create following script:Go To Record/Request/Page [ First ]Loop… do anythingGo To Record/Request/Page [ Next ; exit after last ]End Loop  Expected Result:The record indicator should display record 1 and then begin incrementing rapidly as the script runs.  Actual Result:See that the record count never changes.  Even if you have 5,000 records and you currently are on record 4,000 when you start the script, script won't jump to first record and increment - the record display indicator will always remain on record 4,000.  Exact text of any error message(s) that appeared:None  Any additional configuration information/troubleshooting that is relevant to the issue:I realize at times that we freeze window etc to speed up a script.  But there are times when we may want the user to see the records increment (or we want to see it when we are designing).  It should be dynamic like the old Status area.  Any workarounds that you have found:None
