      FileMaker Pro

      13.09 pro

      Operating system version

      mac osx yosemite 10.10.3

      Description of the issue

update fails, worried I will lose data.  Bill daily so I cant spend 4 hours updating which is what it was telling me, waited two hours and it failed.  Why is this not corrected? Have an server that supports this for me.  If this is not all stored with filemaker or on the server and I do the update will it delete it all?  I cant have that happen, theres no way to save it on my computer?

      Actual result

          Thank you for your post.

FileMaker Pro 13.0v9 will work under Mac OS X 10.10.3.

When you say "update fails", are you talking about FileMaker Pro update?  Or, Mac OS X update?

You mention a "server".  Are you running FileMaker Server?  If so, what version?

If the files are local to your machine, temporarily move the database files to the desktop, remove and reinstall FileMaker Pro, as this will only update the application and not affect the files.
