Thank you for the post.
The text style limitations of iOS are documented on Page 18 of the FileMaker Go 12 Development Guide:
The following text styles are supported in iOS: bold, italic, underline, title case, uppercase, lowercase, word underline (appears as underline), double underline.
iOS doesn’t support: highlight, strike through, condense, extend, small caps, superscript, subscript."
Thank you for clarifying.
I was able to solve the issue by finding an IPad app 'Cymbol' that allows features such as superscripts and subscripts to be created and then pasted into the FileMaker Go app.
Out of curiosity, what type of data are you pasting? Are you pasting an image into a container field or something else?
Typing a chemical formula, e.g., H2O......The number '2' in the formula should be a subscript....I use the Cymbol app to type the formula, select and copy it it, go to the FileMaker Go database, and paste it into the appropriate record.
I understood that, but how are you "pasting it into the appropriate record"? Are you pasting a graphic image into a container field? or are you pasting text into a text field?
