I expanded the exe file on my PC than run the msi file and when it gets to the end of the install it comes up with an error message, Error 1935? Same for you?
Petra Boucher and David Payne:
Thank you for your posts, and I apologize for the late reply.
This is generally an OS issue; not a FileMaker Pro issue. If you have already resolved this, please post here with what steps were taken so others who encounter this issue can benefit.
If you are still having difficulty, please either talk to Microsoft, or reinstall your OS and then install FileMaker Pro.
Hello Petra and David,
I had the same problem and the following solution worked for me.
1. Run the fmp_11 installer, this will unpack all the installation files in a directory called FMICD. This directory will be created in the same location from which you ran the installer. After you get the error message quit the FileMaker installer.
2. Open the FMICD directory and go into a subdirectory called Files (FMICD/Files).
3. From the Files directory, run the Setup.exe file.
Please let us know if it works for you.
