Summary

upgrades our Mac to 10.8 (clean sweep). backed up database on Lacie.  When we reinstalled our FMPro11 Adv and opened the database.  We no longer have admin privileges.  We used the same master user name and password and is a read only status.

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11

Operating system version

Mac 10.8

Description of the issue

The files are now all read only.  When we try to edit states no privilege.  The "manage" link in file pull down is greyed out.  Attempted several re-installs using the same username/passwords we used before upgrade.  Called customer service, no help.  Is there a way to crack thru the greyed out "Admin" and password to access the data to edit?  Or is there a way to recover the data with out redoing 7 years worth of data input?

All the back ups can be opened but, nothing is able to edit.

Steps to reproduce the problem

- tried re-installs
-tried all user names/passwords that worked to access in past
