Summary

User actions (filter setup and script triggers) not disabled (greyed out) for LOCKED objects

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11.0v3

Operating system version

Windows 7

Description of the issue

I suppose this is well known (but then why not FIX it), but unlike what happens if you try to go to Tab Control Setup when a tab object is locked (you can't), Filemaker is happy to let me edit portal filters, script triggers for objects, etc. even when they are locked (and thus unsavable). Trust me, it's not fun to write a portal filter script only to have it go "poof" because the portal oh-by-the-way happens to be locked.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Lock a portal.
2. Right-click and choose "Portal Setup"
3. Do lots of changes, including writing a complex filter script.
4. Click on OK, etc.

Oops.

Expected result

Same behavior as when one tries to go to Tab Setup when the tab object is locked -- should be greyed out and inaccessible.

Actual result

Per above.
