Summary

Using ODBC to share FileMaker data

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11

Operating system version

MAc OS X 10.6.4

Description of the issue

on my mac, I setup the ODBC driver that come with FM PRO 11, in order to access FM PRO data.

Everything seams to work except for the following SQL query:

select * from testDB where ("t"="b")

I got the following error message:

[FileMaker][FileMaker] FQL0007/(1:32): The column named "b" does not exist in any table in the column reference's scope. [HY000]

If I use a query like: select * from testDB , it works as expected.

Steps to reproduce the problem

create a table called testDB with a field called t
add some data

run SQL query outside Filemaker PRO:

select * from testDB where ("t"="b")

Expected result

row of testDB data

Actual result

ERROR
[FileMaker][FileMaker] FQL0007/(1:32): The column named "b" does not exist in any table in the column reference's scope. [HY000]

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

Workaround
