Summary

Vertical line extending thru body disappears in "Preview" mode

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12

Operating system version

Mac OS X and Windows 7

Description of the issue

Previously, when in "Preview" mode (as when preparing to print a report), a vertical line stretching from above the body (i.e starting in header) to below the body (i.e. ending in footer) was drawn thru the height of the body, and (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) was automatically sized correctly as the size of the body changed based on “sliding”. Now, in FM 12, no vertical line appears in the body.

Steps to reproduce the problem

use this link to download two PDFs of the same invoice, one printed from FileMaker 11 and one printed from FileMaker 12 imemdiately after file conversion:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28923384/FileMaker%20Vertical%20Line%20Issue.zip

Expected result

vertical line would extend thru the entire height of the body section of a layout, without affecting the height of the body

Actual result

no vertical line is drawn thru the height of the body
