View settings don't stick

View settings don't stick

FileMaker Pro

FMPA 12.0v2

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.7.4

Description of the issue

The file I'm working on using FMPA is being hosted on another machine, where it's being opened with FMP. On both that machine and this one, I have set these 3 Layout-mode features to my preferences:
 • view rulers: off
 • show sliding objects: off
 • snap to grid: on

However, every time I close the file on either machine and reopen it, the settings I GET are these:
 • view rulers: on
 • show sliding objects: on
 • snap to grid: off

Steps to reproduce the problem

Close the file. Reopen the file. Works every time.

Expected result

I expect these settings to remain as I set them, not to reset themselves to the default every time the file is closed.

Actual result

See above.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

No error messages provided.

Configuration information

The file was converted from .FP7 but otherwise seems to be working fine. Several other files converted at the same time do not have this problem.

Manually reset the preferences every time I open the file.
