Thank you for the post.
Our Testing department had a previous report (not through the Forums) of this issue. Testing and Development was also able to reproduce and confirm the issue. Additionally, I added your comments to the previous report.
Ok, thanks for the confirmation. Is there a plan to fix this in an upcoming update?
if not, do you have another suggestion on how to print a complete generated HTML file from Go in high quality?
(The Web Viewer is out because of low print quality and inability to support variable document length.)
FileMaker Inc. does not publically announce what features or bug fixes might be included in future versions/updates of their product line.
An entry in the Known Bugs List for FileMaker GO has been linked to this issue report. If you have any comments/questions/concerns about that entry, please post them here or in a new post. Please do not post such comments to the Bugs List thread.
I see. I will have to figure out a workaround myself.
This behaviour is unchanged in FileMaker Go 13.0.1. No images render when displaying a html file. Not even with Base64 embedded images, same as before.
It is frustrating and disappointing that this bug report was not attended to.
P.S. FM Go v.13 now includes a button to Open in Safari on the Open URL script step screen making it possible to print from Safari and potentially overcome this issue, but the button does not work.
