Summary

Viewing an exported html file does not show images

Product

FileMaker Go

Version

12.0.8

Operating system version

iOS 6

Description of the issue

The file viewer in FM Go does not show images when asked to display a html file after it is exported with Export field contents with the option to automatically open.

All html and inline styles renders normally. Have not tried with an external css.

On desktop (Mac/Win) everything works as expected.

(the generated html file renders perfectly with images in a Web Viewer before export)

Steps to reproduce the problem

Make a html file which includes an image using either a link to a local image in the temporary folder or a base 64 encoded image.
Check that file renders normally in a Web Viewer
Export the html file using Export field contents to the temporary folder with the Automatically open option checked.
The file opens in FM Go's internal file viewer with no images.

Expected result

The html file should render complete with all resources.

Actual result

The html file renders without images, either internal or external.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

No error visible

Configuration information

The included screenshot is taken when using a base64 encoded image. Web Viewer on top. File viewer below.

Workaround

If I instead use an Open URL script step after the export, everything renders perfectly. Sadly, this window does not offer any possibility to print the file, which is the point of the whole exercise.
