Enter layout mode
Select the Appearance tab in the inspector
You'll find the setting for BaseLines in the section named "Graphic" along with the other settings for field borders.
In FileMaker 13, this control was moved to the Text section.
PS. to see this when printing, you may need to enter layout setup... and clear the "Delineate" option...
Good Morning Phil,
Thanks for your reply.
I figured out why the text baselines weren't visible or printing, they were defaulted to no stroke, I would have thought the default would be black.
I have a new issue concerning drop-down lists, I want the field value to be visible in preview & print, but do not want the arrows to print. I have Object Visiblity set to "Hide when printing", but that is also hiding the field value. Is there a way to work around this?
Use one layout for data entry and a different one for printing. Then none of your fields need have this formatting on your print layout.
