Thank you for your post.
I am able to reproduce the problem on my Windows XP SP3 machine. I can confirm this does work properly on Mac OS X and with FileMaker Go on iOS.
I have forwarded your post and my findings to our Development and Software Quality Assurance (Testing) departments for review and confirmation. I will let you know when I receive a reply from either of these departments.
TSGal: Can you guess what I'm going to ask? ;-)
Can this be reproduced in Windows 7 or Vista?
BruceR and PhilModJunk:
Our Testing department has confirmed the issue with Windows 7 (nothing about Vista), and it has been sent on to Development for further review.
I've just banged my head against this feature!
I have html that I generate internally, use the webviewer to display, click a link to move on once the user has interacted.
On Mac OS I can see the change of URL and retrieve the results from the url via the Object info source attribute.
On Windows there does not seem to be any way to provoke such a facility to work.
Bummer - I'd love to release my HTML editor (one just like this entry box!) to the community.
My current workaround is to use a live webserver to support the editor files and return the results in a way that the FMP webviewer can cope.
Fingers crossed this gets fixed in v12 or even a rev4 update for v11.
Has there been a fix for this yet?
