Summary

WebDirect - using a URL with Safari to access a specific database

Product

FileMaker Server

Version

v14

Operating system version

Macintosh OSX

Description of the issue

We are using a URL to directly access a database and also return to a home page.  The URL is something like this ...

https://pci26.MyFMServer.com/fmi/webd?homeurl=http://www.MyWebSite.net#MyDataBase

We have a link in a web site that redirects the user to this URL.
We are finding that Safari truncates the URL at the # !

Is this truncation in Safari a know issues ?
Is there a workaround to pass such a URL from a website page that will allow the user to be redirected to our URL ?

Thanks

Steps to reproduce the problem

I can share the web site and details of the redirect code when you are ready for such details.

Expected result

The entire URL should get passed to Safari.

Actual result

The URL is truncated at the #
