Webdirect shows spinning wheel on Mac Server - Mavericks and Yosemite
14.0v1 and v2
Operating system version
Mavericks and Yosemite
Description of the issue
Reference WebDirect Issue [150518-000866] in FileMaker support for more detailed info.
I started with s cloud server Mac (a standalone machine with SSD drive) running Yosemite. This was a brand new image installed on a Mac, Server Admin never installed. No other software running, just the operating system, fully patched, running the latest version of Java.
I installed FM Server 14.0v1 (and now v2) with a single machine configuration.
When a user logs into the WebDirect project window (http://192.168.0.x/fmi/webd#, for example, the sample FM sample file (FMServer_Sample) flashes on the screen briefly, then a spinning wheel appears. And stays.
I have duplicated this on 4 separate pieces of hardware at this cloud provider, 3 running fresh installs of Yosemite, and one running Mavericks.
I get the same problem every single time.
WebDirect is not usable.
Early on (this has been happening since May 18th), I was able to type in a direct address and it would work: http://192.168.0.x/fmi/webd#FMServer_Sample, for example. That no longer works.
Steps to reproduce the problem
Install FM Server 14 as a single machine install on a Mac running only Mavericks or Yosemite.
Enter the URL to access the WebDirect project pane (the window showing available solutions. do this from a remote Mac on the internet. If accessed on the server's instance of Safari, the project window shows up properly.
See the available files displayed in the project window.
A quick flash of the available files, then a never ending spinning wheel.
Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

This has been verified on these servers by FileMaker Support
Mac, 50GB SSD drive, 16GB Ram. Clean installs.
Type in an bad address. For example, http://192.168.0.x/fmi/webd#FM. The database FM does not exist on the server. After a few seconds, an error window opens: Error. Database not available.
Click OK, and the project window opens properly. After that, the system works perfectly. I can log in and out of the sample db, and the project window shows up.
The attached screenshot shows the actual address of the server as of posting. Feel free to try to access the project window for yourselves.
