    Webviewer displaying incorrectly

    gregholdaway

      Summary

      Webviewer displaying incorrectly

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      13.0v3

      Operating system version

      OSX

      Description of the issue

Webviewer does not display XERO accounting website correctly. Page elements overlap. Xero has sent me to you.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Open Xero accounting in Webviewer

      Expected result

Page displays correctly with no overlapping items

      Actual result

Page elements overlap covering some elements of the pages

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      none

      Workaround

If the viewer window is smaller than the webpage, only the elements in current view show… i.e. if the overlapping element is out of window size it does not display over the top of the higher elements. However, if the window is larger this overlapping graphs etc move up the page and obscure higher elements.

               Thank you for your post.

I cannot find the graph on the xero.com web site.  Can you provide the exact URL?

Xero is a subscription accounting service, the screenshots come from within the app. Access can be gained with a free trial account, simple to register from the link on their homepage… "Try xero for free".

I have attached another example of how Filemaker renders the site, the buttons on some dialogs do not contain  colour… in the example show the banner at top of dialog box is transparent...

Thank you for the additional screen shot.

Can you provide me the URL for both screens?  That way, I can compare it with a WebViewer under Mac and Windows.
