      Summary

Windows: Install Plug-In File Script Step Deletes Temporary Directory

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      12 v4

      Operating system version

      Windows 7

      Description of the issue

Running a script that installs a plug-in file deletes the temporary directory.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      * Open FileMaker Pro on Windows
      * Save something to the temporary directory
      * Run a script that installs plug-in files
      * Check the temporary path and see your temporary directory has disappeared!

      Expected result

      The temporary directory still exists

      Actual result

      It has been deleted

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      None

      Configuration information

This appears to be a Windows-only bug.

      Workaround

Disable any scripts that install plug-ins. If you have to run them, create a script that checks to make sure the temporary path exists an if it does not then create it.
