      Description of the issue

      Attempting to import an XML file created with Media Pro.  Keep getting this error message: XML/XSL information is not enough to proceed with import/export.
      Trying to avoid having to enter inventory information for over 900 items again : /  Help!

      Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      XML/XSL information is not enough to proceed with import/export.

               I'm having the same issue importing from an OLD goldmine database.  Were you able to figure this out?

                 Thank you for the posts. I apologize for the delayed response.


                 From the help on Importing XML data:


                 "When the XML you’re importing does not conform to the FMPXMLRESULT DTD, you must apply an XSLT style sheet that transforms the XML into the proper grammar. The XSLT source may be a file or the result of an HTTP request."


                 To summarize, an XSL stylesheet is required to transform the XML source into FileMaker's own XML grammar. The stylesheet cannot be generic, because it must describe (a) the fields that FileMaker must import (or create, if importing into a new table) and (:) the path to the data feeding those fields.
